About Ali
I’m Ali Ukani, a developer living in Boston, MA. I’m majoring in Computer Science at Northeastern University, and kicking major butt.
When I was in the fourth grade, my technology teacher told my class not to look at the code view in Microsoft Frontpage. (I didn’t listen!)
I built stuff in PHP when I was in middle school and did some iOS development in high school. Right now I’m doing stuff in Ruby, Racket, Java, and Objective-C. I also really like bash scripting, because automating a process is fun, and repetitively typing stuff into the terminal isn’t.
I also play the guitar, and enjoy lifting weights.
- In May 2010 I graduated from Singapore American School.
- In Dec 2010, I made an iPad app called ChordPad.
- In Spring 2011 I started my studies in Computer Science at Northeastern University.
- I also joined the web team at Tastemakers Magazine.
- In November/December 2011 I helped make a game called ClownFactory.
- In January 2012 I created a simple game engine.
- I also switched to Zsh, and signed on as a tutor for CS 2800 (Logic and Computation).
