ChordPad
ChordPad is an app I made to help people learn how to play the guitar. My goal was an iPad app that is easy-to-use and easy for a beginner to understand.

I made the app to help my sister learn guitar. She had an easier time learning basic chords when I showed her how I played them on my guitar. I found a thread on Reddit by a user named Greim who came up with chord charts that had a hand drawn behind the background. Because they were released under the Creative Commons Attribution license, I imported them into Illustrator, prettied them up and reformatted them for the iPad’s screen, and made them into an iPad app.
